Then as I got all comfy here at home, one of the guys calls from the club house and says they need another person to play 500--a card game I don't know but Larry learned about two weeks ago. So, I head out to play cards for the evening. It wasn't too difficult. Combination of bridge, Euchre and pitch except those dang jacks are still high - always confusing to me.
Today I got up early and went to do my morning aerobics. On the way out, I dropped by the craft class table to see what they were doing and they were making bracelets. So I sat down and made a bracelet.
Came back to camp and we decided to go for a walk because my aerobics was more strength and balance training today than aerobic.
Came back to camp decided to go geo caching - someplace close so we weren't out a lot of fuel. Drove up the road about a mile and did 5 geos. Just for all of you that are thinking we only grab the geos in Veterans Memorials, parks and cemeteries, check out these pictures.
I thought we had gotten the smallest geo ever at this first picture called "Longhorn Chute". It was an inch long and hanging from a hook inside the chute among cactus and rusty metal. However, if you'll look at the hummingbird, called The Hummer, you'll see that this one was the size of a hearing aid battery. It was a magnet held up into the birds belly and then hung from a tree along a bicycle trail. Larry isn't walking on the bicycle trail in the next picture, we had to head out across the park to get to some of the geos.
I'm
We went to one called "Scared of Snakes" . I didn't walk all the way back to it bec
I took this picture of some poo I found on the trail.
From here, we headed to the closest Pizza Hut for pizza and Pepsi - not in the order. And, since we hadn't done enough today, Larry decided to stop by a soccor field real close to camp and fly a kite. Drove it into the ground and broke it's back. Good thing he has two others for back up. Said there was too much wind to fly his new one. He wants milder winds and more consistent winds.
Tomorrow - Mexico.
