July 6: Stuff

Yesterday, we stayed close to camp. Did laundry and grocery shopped. BBQ'd a hamburger and steak for supper. The RV park had a southern gospel quartet come in last night for our entertainment. They were really good and we enjoyed their singing very much.

Today, we watched the Wimbledon match that would not end. Over six hours with rain delays. After sitting all that time, we decided to get on the trolley and head for a Mexican meal. Got off at the trolley station and walked to the restaurant (found out later that it was a mile). Boy were we hot and sweaty by the time we got there. Fortunately, the food was good but they don't serve margaritas on Sunday - but I could have had a beer - go figure. Opted for the sweet tea which is becoming a favorite of mine.

Took the trolley back to the station this time instead of walking and went straight to the ice cream store - AGAIN!!! About 30 minutes later we were on the trolley for home. Now we need to walk the park to work off some of this stuff we just ate.

Tomorrow, Monday, we're going to Dollywood after 3:00pm. This allows us to go back in all day Tuesday free. We think there will be enough shows, rides and food to keep us busy for one and a half days.
