Larry spent from 10:30 to around 3:00 at the local V.A. Clinic for his yearly physical. They were an hour late calling him in for his appointment and then he had to stand in line to get his new meds. Also had to have blood drawn for lab work. I spent the day exercising and reading - real quiet day for me. He was starving when he got back and I wanted a taste of home. We went to On The Border for dinner - always good.
We went to Academy Sports Store and bought some new stuff for fishing in the bay area. Wire leaders, 3 oz weights, circle hooks - stuff that I don't use in Kansas. We just need some dead shrimp and we'll be ready to go. I want a day when the wind isn't blowing and the waves aren't crashing so we can go out on the wave breaker wall (or whatever it's called) and fish out there. It's just beyond the marina area. You can walk out there from shore. Not sure what I'm fishing for, but anything will be fun. Also bought a year's fishing license for both the salt and fresh water fishing - $65/each. Hopefully, tomorrow (may be raining) or the next day, I can post how this experience went.
